Craigslist allows people in your area to post used/new items up for sale and it's similar to an online garage sale with people selling from furniture to clothes. Often times used items such as dog crates, clothes, dog houses, cat scratching posts, and even litter boxes can be bought for very cheap on craigslist. Deals I've scored included a $20 extra large crate and $5 scratching post! Just do a search in the pets and for sale section of the site corresponding to your local area. Be sure to meet up in a safe place to check out the items you want. Buying used saves a lot of money and is eco-friendly! So try out craigslist the next time you need pet items!
